#25 Rag Dolls--Girls All my dolls are custom-made. The body is made of cloth, eyes are embroidered and the hair is made of yarn. These little dolls measure about 14 inches. They can be black, brown or white. You have your choice of hair and eye color, and dress color. The choice of fabric pattern is mine, but you can request a solid color. The apron will be a solid color or white. If you prefer white please state so in the comment box. The black dolls eyes are actually white stars so that they will stand out on the black fabric. The hair of the dolls can be classic black dolls (ethnic) i.e. little pigtails all over the head, or it can be short and curly, short and straight or long and in ponytails or in pigtails. If you have another idea on the hair, please let me know. The pictures are of some I have made, but please check out the picture page to see more ideas. If the child is under three, please let me know so that I will not put embellishments on the doll that might be swallowed |

#24 Rag Dolls--boys All of my dolls are custom-made. These little rag dolls can be black or white. They come with little shirts and blue jean overalls. You have your choice of shirt color, but the pattern will be my choice. Also, hair color and eye color are your choice. Please note, that the black doll's eyes will be white so that they stand out on the black fabric. The little black doll can be black as in the picture with my 2 year old granddaughter, or a brown. Also, if the doll is for a child under 3, you may not want buttons on the overalls, so I can put snaps. Please let me know in the comments box. |

We believe these dolls originated during the 1800's in the South. The story goes that slave mothers would make a doll with one white side and one black side, so that their children could play with a black dolls, but if the plantation owner showed up it could be flipped around to show the white doll. However it happened, the topsy-turvy with one black doll and one white doll continues to be a favorite. I can make the dolls to be combinations of black/white, asleep/awake, doll in rags/doll in fancy dress (Cinderella). You may chose hair colors, eye color and dress colors for the Cinderella doll and the awake/asleep doll. You may chose dress colors for the black/white doll. The choice of patterns is mine, but the two sides will coordinate. Please note that these are custom-made dolls and will have a lead time of 2 to 4 weeks. |

#49 Fancier Rag doll These little dolls are similar in shape to one of the topsy/turvy dolls. Their hair is in braids, with ribbons, and their dresses are fancier. They also have a slimmer shape. You can choose the dress color, although the choice of pattern will be mine. You can also choose hair color and eye color. The dolls may be white, black or brown. Please note that the black and brown dolls will have white eyes so that they will show up on the fabric. Please note that as these are custom-made the lead time is 2 to 4 weeks |

COMING SOON 20" Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls will soon be available. Also, two of the storybook friends, the Camel with the wrinkled Knees, and Beloved Belindy, will also be available. 38" Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls are also in the works. Prices will depend upon the size of the doll and the number of dolls requested.
